Ho’ōla - Life
‘Āina - Land, Earth
Kula - District in Maui
Aloha!
Ho’ōla ‘Āina ‘O Kula was established in 2021 to support and educate the community on subsistence farming and food security through agriculture and arts. Projects will integrate traditional and contemporary farming methods valuing 'Āina and Kānaka in the center of everything we do.
The mission of Ho’ōla ‘Āina o Kula is to empower indigenous people and promote their healing through agriculture. Together, we are cultivating land by growing native plants, food and creating a nurturing environment to ho’omau or perpetuate the native flora. When we heal the land, we heal the people!
We welcome volunteers, agriculture interns, community programs, and public and private schools to utilize the farm as a space to learn, share and provide agricultural and farming opportunities.
Mahalo for your support! We are honored to accept donations that will help resource, supplies, expertise, workshops, employment opportunities and community days. Your generosity is appreciated.
Mahalo!
